Your Bio

My name is David Simmons. Welcome to my site! These images reflect my inner passion for the hidden and spectacular worlds that surround me in the Bay Area of California. I am inspired by the wonderful photography and spirit of my great grandfather Allen, whom the "A" in my name represents. These galleries, for me, complete the circle he began in the early 20th century, selling photographs from a tent at the end of Main streets of towns all over the west. He is with me on my travels, guiding my lens, and my focus. As I begin my journey with this website, I can't help but believe he would be proud of my work, and more than a little amused, that the family tent is now a website! Thank you for stopping in!
